This 2019, why not learn a new craft? Did you know that leather crafting is an ancient skill that has survived the many centuries? In our workshops we teach a mixture of traditional and modern techniques that can produce beautiful handmade goods. Lastly, add personalisation such as your name with the use of our hot foil stamp machine! No experience in leathercraft is needed, just bring yourself and plenty of enthusiasm! All materials will be provided in this workshop.
This 2-hour leathercraft workshop will guide you on crafting TWO leathergoods!
Genuine brown leather will provided
Learning the various leathercrafting tools
Techniques on making clean cuts on leather
Hammering strategic holes for the assembling of the cardholder
Burnishing the edges of your leathers to seal the edges, as well as give it a smooth finish
Construction of your luggage tag
Personalisation on how to stamp onto leather. Replace 'DIYKL' (as in the photos) and stamp a name, or a special word! Choose between Gold, Rose Gold or Silver.
You will bring home:
Your very own handcrafted cardholder AND leather luggage, yay!
